Leilah Mendes

Leilah loves to educate people on dog behavior and care, to curb the unintentional harm imposed on our canine companions. Leilah has a Bachelor of biological science and is planing on doing an honors in Animal Behavior. Leilah has full qualification in dog handling (patrol, detection, and tracking).


Leilah enjoys the bond between handler and dog and wishes for all pet owners to share this with their own furbabies. Leilah is a novice protection decoy. She is new to professional dog training, yet embraces the knowledge of her instructors and peers. Leilah has completed Ian Dunbar's crucial concepts on dog behavior and training, as well as Victoria Stilwell's inside your dog's mind. Leilah is currently expanding her dog training knowledge whilst studying full time at the University of Witwaterstrand.
